On O'Reilly Radar, I picked up a link to an article in Wired about the way Lego have used a web 2.0 / von Hippel approach to harness the knowledge and intelligence of lead users when developing the new Mindstorms NXT robotics toolkit. Lego is currently looking for 100 "beta" developers.
