N80 IE Firmware Version
You can check the version of your N80's firmware by typing in '*#0000#'
The firmware version on my N80 IE is:
V 4.0632.0.38 13-10-2006 RM-92 Nokia N80 (03)

I got V 4.0623.0.42. Try to use Nokia Software Updater here: http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4226014 It works 100%, after that i updated my Phone to .42 via FOTA. (Firmware Over The Air).
PS: This Phone ROCKS!

Are you sure your phone is the “internet edition”?
The N80 IE is not listed at http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4226014.
So if your phone is a N80 IE, how did you manage to update it?

Ok, the N80 Internet Edition is THE SAME as the N80!! The only difference ist the software bundle on it. The Firmware is the same. This Strohbündel declares the N80 to N80 Internet Edition. I don’t have the Internet Edition but i think Nokia put the extra Software (Install Package) on your Mini SD Card or on CD, so you can reinstall after Firmware update. (Or just make a Backup with Nokia PC Suite.)
Better: Just send an Email to Nokia Support and ask them about it, that’s what i would do. :o)
