Nokia N80 internet edition Update
Availability of the updated N80 internet edition (announced for "mid-september release" [sic]) has turned out not to be just around the corner. As you can see in my previous post, retailers have for the past couple of weeks been pushing the release date into the future.
On the bright side there does seem to be a few encouraging developments:
- Nokia has put up a N80 internet edition support site that features software downloads, manuals, user guides and so forth.
- The N80 internet edition page at Norwegian lanseringsguide.amobil.no has expanded and now lists several retailers. These retailers seem to converge on a N80 internet edition release for somewhere between November 13th and November 20th.
- Several country specific Nokia sites (e.g. Denmark, Sweden, Germany) now lists the N80 internet edition (N80 IE) among handsets to be available shortly.
