Mowser Wordpress Plugin

Hey, turns out I am among the first 100 people to to mobilize my website through Mowser!

Mowser is a content adaptation engine/service for mobile devices that works kind of like the Small Screen Rendering used in the Opera Mini mobile browser. The Wordpress plugin detects if a mobile device browses my website and makes Mowser pre-process the pages before sending them to the device. I know there are consulting firms out there that will help you achieve the same thing in return of a handsome sum of money, but Mowser is free.

New Job

I apologize for not posting much in the past couple of weeks. I have just started a new job and with all the excitement and confusion that comes with that, I have not had the time or energy to write any new posts.

I have taken up a position as Head of Technology Services at OnlineCity - a local company here in Odense that specializes in providing services and solutions at the intersection between the »old« web and the »new« mobile web. As Head of Technology Services I will be doing a mix of project management, product development and architecting.

I am terribly excited about my new job at OnlineCity - to me, the company appears to be splendidly positioned to take advantage of the convergence of web-based systems and mobile systems. I hope this means I am in for some very interesting projects and assignments.
