I wrote the other day how I have been bewildered by a sudden drop in traffic on this site.

Turns out there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for the drop as the site have somehow been hacked.

Evil people have inserted bits of HTML in the site's header and footer linking to hundreds of spam sites advertising weird pharmaceuticals and what not.

A new version of DivXPlayer Mobile - the free video player for DivX (MPEG4) encoded videos - has been released.

DivXPlayer v0.90 includes various bug fixes and introduces video on demand. It is available for Windows Mobile, Symbian OS UIQ and Symbian OS S603rd.

The 10/1 Mbps ADSL line I ordered from Telmore was activated yesterday.

What a difference - I regret not doing this sooner!

Which is nice.

As an added bonus the ISP switch required zero work on my part. Telmore canceled my previous ADSL subscription and although they did send me a nice box with a brand new ADSL modem in it, I have no use for it. The new modem is identical to the one I already have so I took my chances and just kept the old one. It worked out perfectly - some time yesterday while I was at work the IP address simply changed and that was it.

I discovered a hedgehog in our backyard tonight and quickly rushed back in and got my "loaner" N82.

The backyard is pitch black at night so this was a perfect opportunity to test the N82's Xenon flash.

I would say the result is pretty convincing, no?
