Ha, Ha - Nokia 6220 Classic on Monday
Browsing through the weekly specials brochure from Elgiganten, I noticed the Nokia 6220 Classic being advertised for next week. Which is kind of surprising since the 6220C does not seem to be available anywhere else. Only a couple of online shops list it and none of them have it in stock. I wonder if Elgiganten has some kind of really hot deal with Nokia?
I recall I also bought my N95 at Elgiganten, when the N95 had just come out. At that time N95 units were nowhere to be had, but again Elgiganten surprisingly had a few in stock. And the price was not even too bad - just as with the 6220C above.
Great news indeed - since it appears I will be able to lay my hands on a 6220C on Monday!

Unfortunately, it is a dud!
I called Elgiganten this morning - just to verify they in fact had the 6220C in stock (before skipping lunch to go gadget hunting) and they do not have any in stock. The person I spoke to on the phone was not even able to tell me when they will get it.
Amazing since the 6220C is featured not just once, but twice in Elgiganten’s brochure this week (both subsidized by TDC and unsubsidized)!
Other than that, the 6220C seems like such a nice phone - much nice than the N78 (which I have also considered).

The Nokia 6220 Classic became available at Proshop.dk tonight - I just ordered one..w00t!
Price came to DKK 2884 (w. shipping and MasterCard fee included)
Now all I have to do is wait!
