The kind people at womworld.com have equipped me with a loaner Nokia E61i handset and I thought I would kick off by making an unboxing video.

My brother was involved in a car accident on Saturday, which pretty much totaled our parent's car.
My brother called me minutes after the accident had happened - with panic in his voice he told me he had hit someone in a nearby roundabout. Needless to say, I just grabbed my mobile phone and my car keys, and ran to the car.

A reader of this blog asked for some Nokia 6220 Classic and N82 comparison pictures and when I could not really find any, I decided to make some myself. I own a N95 and a 6220 Classic, and I currently have a N82 on loan from the S60 Ambassadors programme.
Except it should not really be me doing this since I am a pretty lousy photographer. I should probably also have used a tripod for some of the pictures in this post, but there you have it.
It is a comparison of images shot using the Nokia 6220 Classic; the Nokia N82 and the Nokia N95. All three handsets feature a 5 mega pixel camera.
I have done my best to take the pictures under identical conditions. Alas, most of the pictures were taken on an overcast day and even though I tried to avoid taking pictures when the sun was going in and out of the clouds, the pictures bare witness to some variation. Therefore, please take this comparison with a grain of salt.

One of the larger, Danish mobile news sites - mobilsiden.dk - reports today how Nokia has had to withhold delivery of 6220C units all across Europe because of assembly problems. According to mobilsiden.dk, the 6220C keypad comes off after being used for just a short while. Nokia intends to fix units that have not yet shipped, causing planned deliveries to be 2 weeks delayed.
Nokia has had problems with assembly before - initial N95 units suffered from "a wobbly sliding mechanism" and I had my N95's sliding mechanism replaced at Nokia's expense.
Only, I have yet to experience any problems with my 6220C unit. I have had it for more than three weeks now, sending quite a few text messages every day and there is absolutely no indication anything should be wrong with the keypad. No loose keys or anything of that sort. I think I even dropped it on a hard surface at one point.
What is your experience? If you happen to own a 6220C, please leave a comment about how your keypad is holding up…

If you are new to the 6220C's 5 megapixel camera - here is a tip: try the 'macro' mode - you will love it!
Using the macro mode enables you to capture motifs extremely close up - I have really come to love the macro feature on my N95 and thankfully, it works just as well on the 6220C. The pictures in this post were all taken using the macro mode.
