The Nokia 6220 Classic fits on the Nokia Tripod DT-22
Just in case someone was wondering…
I use the DT-22 quite a lot - especially when recording video - and I was wondering, if the 6220C would indeed fit the tripod.
Not only is the 6220C a lot thinner than the N95 I usually use with the tripod - the keys on either side need to be taken into account. On the 6220C's left side is the "Own key" and on the right side are the volume controls that double as zoom controls when using the camera.
I find the best way to attach the 6220C to the tripod, is to turn the tripod's clamps such that the short clamp is on top. It is a bit difficult to explain, but in this way, the 6220C's "Own key" goes clear of the (bottom) long clamp. You still need to make sure the shorter clamp does not press the volume (zoom) control keys the wrong way, but it is not very difficult.
