New N82 firmware v30.0.019 released for product code 0551515 (Scandinavia)
A week ago, Symbian Guru informed us about new firmware v30.0.019 being released for the Nokia N82, product code 0558752.
Since then, I have been checking daily with Nokia device software update to see if the new firmware is available for product code 0551515 (Scandinavia). I am happy to report that this is now the case - I got a "positive hit" when I checked this morning.
I have not updated my N82 yet because I am at work, but I will report back later when I have had a chance to do so.
I have included a full changelog below - the main points seem to be general improvements in responsiveness; improved display auto rotation (ASR); improvements in video quality and music player; and a significantly improved camera startup time.
Fortunately, N82 firmware upgrades use UDP (User Data Preservation), which really helps ease the task of upgrading. With UDP there is no need to reinstall applications, reset the preferred device configuration etc. Everything is carried over from the previous firmware.

Unfortunately Nokia Software Updater drives me nuts :(
I have N82 with product code 0551515. When I check from Nokia web page it clearly says that there is update to my current SW (V20.0.062). However when I try to update with Nokia Software Updater it claims that there is no update.
This is really stupid as also Nokia PC suite also keeps notifying that there is update for my phone :(
I have reseted phone, changed language, tried multiple times, reinstalled software updater … miserable failure.
