Not quite ready for Autumn
Please excuse the lack of updates lately.
I have have not felt much like writing in the past few weeks … I have been feeling somewhat knackered from working hard and I am not really up for the Autumn season that is setting in at the moment.
At work we have spent nearly two months preparing and submitting a bid for at large contact for a SMS ticketing system - somewhat similar to the one we have delivered to FynBus. I have put a lot of time and effort into drawing up the technical design and documentation - we submitted our bid in late August and had the first round of negotiations last week where the potential client came down hard on our bid. This week we have submitted a revised bid and we now keep our fingers crossed we will make it to the next round of negotiations. More on this as it develops…
With all this work going on, I have not felt spending much time on the computer in my free time (I cannot believe I just wrote that). Also, because of work, I have not had much time to geek out and find new mobile stuff to write about.
