Yours truly at Mobil Monday Denmark, November 3rd.
I have been given the privilege to present at the upcoming Mobile Monday Denmark meetup.
The theme for November’s Mobile Monday Denmark is “Traffic and Mobility” and my employer, mobile service provider OnlineCity, has been asked to present the SMS-based bus ticketing system we have developed – and operate – for the regional public bus transportation company, FynBus.
In my presentation I plan to focus on business models for mobile payment based on premium charged SMS.
Specifically those offering goods and services delivered via a channel other than the mobile phone itself. Since the FynBus SMS ticket has been running as a pilot project to test new regulations concerning this type of services, I will of course bring forward as many lessons learned from that project, as time permits.
I also plan to present key statistics from the FynBus SMS Ticket since these bear evidence to the success and viability of SMS based mobile payment.
